Cousins!

Kaya has had a lot of fun with her Cousins, Kinzie and Ayden in town, although she has seemed to be a little bit threated by them. She does not like it when anyone else holds, hugs, kisses or plays with her other Cousins. She is a little bit protective of her family! She plays with Kinzie and Ayden and she calls every baby she see's "Stella". She is kind of scared of her cousin Kinzie because she is always trying to pick her up and boss her around. She has learned to "scream" at Kinzie if she doesn't like what she is doing. It is so fun to watch all of the Cousins growing up and loving each other!!

Christmas Eve

Kaya carried this basket around like a purse and put all of her toys in it!  So cute!

This is her new baby that she calls Stella.  She pushes her all over the house.

She loves balls!  Leslie got her these and they are the perfect size for her little hands.

I let Kaya open up her presents from Santa on Christmas Eve, because her other cousins were coming over on Christmas Day and I didn't want Kaya to get lost in the shuffle.  She had so much fun!  Every present she opened she showed pure joy and surprise!  She is so sweet and I had so much fun watching her innocence as she enjoyed her first real Christmas!

Christmas Sunday!

Christmas Sunday is so fun!  Kaya got a brand new Christmas dress that matched her cousin Stella.  We went to church and sang lots of christmas songs and Kaya got out in the foyer and danced to everything.  She loves all of the kids at church.  She likes to  make sure everyone there gets greeted with a proper "Hi"!  She is my little angel and I love her so much!!!

This is Kaya at the Doctors office waiting to get her flu shot.  She looked so cute that day, I had to take some pictures of her.  When she got her shot at the doctors office, she didn't even make a peep.  I don't think she even knew anything bad had happened to her.  She is such a cutie and she is getting so big.  She is learning all sorts of new words like: Papa (baw-baw), duck, Mmmm (whenever she smells food), I also taught her eat in sign language and at church when they pass the sacrament, she starts going crazy!  It is so dang cute!!

Thanksgiving this year was pretty fun!  I mostly hung out with my little cousin stella.  I ate lots of food that mostly got all over my clothes, so I had to be naked after dinner for a little while.  I am thankful for my family and for everyone who loves me.....and that is a lot of people!

She's a Maniac

Kaya LOVES to dance! We have been staying at grammy and papa's for a while and haven't gotten into the habit of having good music around. Tonight mama turned on some tunes and my face lit up and I started stomping my feet and twirling around. I was feeling the beats through my feet!

Last night I had a really high fever. Mommy said it felt like my skin was on fire. I was so sad all night long. I kept making sick moans in my sleep. Finally at about 8am my fever broke and mom and I got a little bit of rest. When I woke up, I lovingly smacked mom in the face and said "hi". I have been reading my books all day and have learned to say "MOOOO". Even though I am really sick and still have a fever, I am so loving and really really cute! I tried to dance to my papa's music, but i didn't feel good and i just wanted mommy to hold me until finally I fell asleep in her arms again. My mommy loves me very much and she is the most comfy when I am sick!

Halloween was pretty fun this year. I went to about 7 houses and everyone thought that I was the cutest animal they had ever seen. I loved going and meeting all of the new people and giving them great big smiles with all of my new teeth. After about 7 houses, I got bored so mom and dad took me to dinner. Later that night, mom and I cuddled up and watched Charlie Brown's "The great Pumpkin". I laughed my head of during it.....silly Charlie Brown!

Tonight was my very first time carving a punkin! I loved it! It felt really weird and mushy between my fingers. I tasted one of the seeds and it was pretty ok. Aunt Leslie let me sit on her lap while I did it because pumpkin guts creep my mom out! Me and my cousin Stella had a pumpkin carving contest and weird enough, we chose the same design(the last two pixx)! This is my first real Haloween but mom says next year, I will really get it!
