My New Job!!!

The greatest thing happened to me yesterday...I recieved a phone call from a plastic surgeons office, they said they got my name from Mandalyn Academy and they needed an experienced esthetician to manage their medical spa. They asked me if i could come in and interview that day, and this morning they called and offered me the job with a base salary plus commission and wanted me to start today! So I had my first day of work today and it was great! My office is beautiful with a waterfall in the front lobby, all of the latest medical grade equipment! I am so excited and it all just fell into my lap! I am finally on my way up after my divorce. I feel like this is such a great opportunity for me to be able to work and support myself and little Kaya. I feel so blessed lately, everything is falling into place as if there was always a plan for me afterall!

More fun in the tub!

Kaya was being so funny in the bathtub today, so I had to grab my camera!  She loves bubble baths!  she sticks her little face in the water so that she gets a bubble beard and she thinks it is so funny.  Funny is her new word this week...she always says..."mama, funny".  She is so dang cute!  I can't believe how much she looks like me when I was a baby, in these pictures!  I have some pictures of myself as a baby in the bathtub somewhere that I will have to post so you can compare!

Going to the "wee" with Gina and Evie

Kaya always wants to go to the "wee" which is the park, because everytime she goes down the slide she says "weeeee", so now, that's what she calls the park. We were so excited to get a call from my old college roommate Gina. We all met up at brick oven for some good food and good talk and then went to the wee! I haven't seen Gina in so many years and it was good to catch up! It was like no time had passed at all! Thanks Gina and Evie for the fun time, we can't wait to play again!

I wear my sunglasses at night

I got Kaya all ready for the day and she went into her room and brought me two accessories that must have been missing. She had to have her headband and sunglasses on! She didn't want to go anywhere without them. She is so cute and getting so opinionated!! I love her little personality that is getting stronger and stronger everyday.

Kaya and I went to Chuck E Cheese with Lily, Brandi and Sterling.  They were visiting from Denver and we wanted to meet up and thought Chuck E Cheese would be perfect....besides the awful food and the desire to sanitize Kaya's entire body when we got home...it was a really fun time, although you would never know by Kaya's face.  I have the hardest time getting her to smile for the camera, even though off camera she is a little Ham!!
